Babylon is a single-click translator, dictionary, converter, and information tool that enables users to get definitions, translations, conversions, and relevant information. It lives on your desktop and retrieves information on topics that you choose (medical, sports, computers, music, and so on). To find information, simply click the desired word term or number (see screen shot). Babylon's content is made available through some of the Web's leading information providers, including Amazon, Britannica, Dietwatch.com, and Accuweather, as well as by private user's glossaries and Babylon's glossary-creation tool, Babylon Builder.

Along with an updated interface, Babylon users receive instant access to definitions and translations from thousands of glossaries, and each user can choose his or her favorite glossaries and rely on them as primary information sources.

This version adds improved proxy server support, DirectSound speech engine support including non-English voices, an updated results list, and minor bug fixes.
