Summary
I used it to find the locations, deleted both folders, fired up Ccleaner (available here)and uninstalled the removal tool, ran the cleaner then ran the registry cleaner.... after three passes, no more problem. Checked in at http://www.spyware-review.net/remove-babylon-toolbar/ and made sure I had all the relevant files killed.

The Babylon Toolbar and search engine were part of a freeware download from Softpedia. (Yes, I declined all options!) After spending 6 hours, ferreting out all possible options, including a stab at Regedit, my boyfriend told me about this removal tool on CNET. Yes, it did It did work and found two more hidey holes for this insidious program.
Cons
When my boyfriend called and said it found it during a Google search, he noted that it was from CNET and to be trusted. I looked in CNET, did a search for Babylon Removal Tool and found nothing. That should have tipped me off. The Google link brought me to a page that had the CNET logo and looked legitimate. I downloaded the software and it did find the locations. The CON is that this it was probably not on the CNET page. After the scan, I was informed that I had to pay $39.00 for the removal of the program in the two locations where it was found. I declined.
Summary
Please beware. DON'T download this tool. Freeware or free tools must be scrutinized carefully. This is not free. I am very suspicious of the legitimacy this software.
