This program offers multiple tools for finding the perfect name for your baby, but the demo unfortunately gives you only a small taste. Baby Names Dictionary s interface is easy to use, though it is somewhat plain looking. Also, we noticed some grammatical errors in the first tab, labeled Things To Consider. You can find a moniker using search criteria such as name, meaning, origin, or gender, then save your favorites to a worksheet. The application also displays the 100 most popular names in the United States, in a specific year or era. Baby Names Dictionary boasts of having more than 27,000 names in its database, but alas, the watered-down trial version only will let you access names beginning with the letter A. In the end, this program looks like a promising tool for prospective parents, but this trial version isn t likely to be incredibly useful.

  "Best names software I've tried"

  Pros: Very easy to search for names.

  Cons: The reports function needs to be improved.
