From Roman Fischer :This is a 3D multi-player tank battle game that allows users to play against each other in a networked environment. There are five teams: red, green, blue, purple and rogue (rogue tanks are black). Destroying a player on another team scores a win, while being destroyed or destroying a teammate scores a loss. Rogues have no teammates (not even other rogues), so they cannot shoot teammates and they do not have a team score.
There are two main styles of play: capture-the-flag and free-for-all. In capture-the-flag, each team (except rogues) has a team base and each team with at least one player has a team flag. The object is to capture an enemy team's flag by bringing it to your team's base. This destroys every player on the captured team, subtracts one from that team's score, and adds one to your team's score. In free-for-all, there are no team flags or team bases. The object is simply to get as high a score as possible.

"MultiPlatform, It's been updated several times in the last year."
Pros: This FREE game has been ported to almost every operating system available. It's been updated several times over the last year, current version is 2.0.8. Network problems are a thing of the past. Graphics are a few years behind, but now that the developers have network under control, they can concentrate on graphics for the next release (2.2). There are many great servers. Online community is helpful and responsive. Possibly the best free game available, anywhere.
Cons: You will not be happy if you have a dail-up connection.
If you want the best graphics, go to ""LouMan's" servers. His show the future of BZFlag.

Pros: This game is easy to learn and runs on every computer and OS currently available. Thi is a great way to test out your new graphics card or new computer system. Come to Two Castles and meet somer really nice people like Capn Kitty or Moto Unit! PS. A-Delusion is nice too
Cons: The interface to change the game around is not the most intuitive

"You can't find a better free online game"
Pros: Highly addictive! I prefer this over most of my full version PC games. Many different servers and maps to play on. Great for all ages! Can download a companion free product to create your own map.
Cons: A few servers are slow. But I guess this is to be expected of an on-line game.
