CNET Editors' review
This software removes select browser helper objects from your system, but you can't upgrade to the registered version. The interface is a mess with its lack of clear labels, explanations, or a help file. BHOZapper merely displays rogue BHOs, but does include a basic virus checker. The Registry Cleanup and Backup option effectively removes a few damaging Registry entries. The traffic monitoring is spotty as this software was written more than two years ago. The disk cleaner is superfluous. Though system administrators might have use for this demoware, it is simply outclassed by many similar programs.Publisher's Description

"didn't work at all for me"
Version: BHOZapper 1.2.8
Cons
I tried it because I have something that hijacks my Google search and adds a Microsoft Internet Explorer search with it. It did nothing to eliminate that, and it only lists a few safe BHOs. My iritating pop-ups continue unabated. I hate these programs that you trial and they don't do the job, yet then they expect you to buy them! Sorry, I'm uninstalling it.

"Why was I the guinea pig???"
Version: BHOZapper 1.2.8
Summary
Ugghh... why did I install this thing.
The interface never launched. I could not even use the software after installing it.
I uninstalled it from the Add/Remove Programs... but it keeps launching a process and a dialogue box wanting me to register every time I reboot.
I can't use it, I can't uninstall it. It is a nightmare. Don't use it.
