From Beiks :BDicty is a shell program for a dictionary that works with language databases. With BDicty, you can use more than one database at a time. This latest update features support for topic dicionaries, such as travel dictionaries and phrase books; horizontal/vertical display options; and several other enhancements. This latest update allows you to call the dictionary from within any other application.
BDicty has two versions, Public and Commercial. The Public version is free and available for download. The Commercial version of BDicty gives you the ability to add new words to your lexicons, which the Public version lacks. This BDicty public (demo) version doesn't allow you to add new words to the database. For more information, visit the developer's site.
