AMPC compiles C code to Java class files. AMPC enables programmers to develop applications using existing C language skill set targeting the JVM enabled devices such as the PDAs, cell phones, game consoles, automotive systems, and desktop systems. AMPC can also be used to port existing C applications to the JVM. Write Once Run Anywhere (WORA) with C. AMPC includes an ANSI C compiler, standard C library, graphics library, TCP/IP library, and ODBC library among others.
Version 1.6.2 adds support for setjmp, longjmp, signal, and raise library functions. Fixes a bug in the TCP/IP library.

Version 1.6.1 fixed compiler exited without removing the temporary files. Some scaffolding code in the compiler was taken out.
