AMPC compiles C code to Java class files. AMPC enables programmers to develop applications using existing C language skill set targeting the JVM enabled devices such as the PDAs, cell phones, game consoles, automotive systems, and desktop systems. AMPC can also be used to port existing C applications to the JVM. Write Once Run Anywhere (WORA) with C. AMPC includes an ANSI C compiler, standard C library, graphics library, TCP/IP library, ODBC library among others.
In version 1.6, "double" is now 64 bits long, therefore, "DOUBLE" is not needed anymore and has been taken out. Several bugs were also fixed.
