AMPC is a C compiler that generates Java byte code. AMPC enables programmers to develop applications using existing C language skill set targeting the JVM enabled devices such as the PDAs, cell phones, game consoles, automotive systems, and desktop systems. AMPC can also be used to port existing C applications to the JVM, which means deriving new revenue streams from previously developed applications. For version 1.4c, error handling as well as error and warning messages have been vastly improved for more effective programming.
