From Axence Software :NetVision helps to make sure that all services, mail, Web, and database servers are always up and running. It monitors your servers, applications, services & SNMP devices while additionally providing alerts and reports concerning the performance of your assets.
The program automatically discovers every host in your network then scans for services. Hosts are presented on interactive maps that display all critical information (leading service response time, services & host down time, non-responding services, alerts). The program can identify and monitor: TCP/IP services, performance counters (Windows and SNMP--CPU utilization, memory, disk space, network transfers), applications (MS SQL, MS Exchange, MS IIS, etc), Web site performance and contents, mail server. You can set up multiple alerts (and corrective/notification actions) whenever your systems go down or experience problems. NetVision provides real-time, and historical charts of all monitored parameters.

"Very usefull in my 320-node network"
Pros: The program discovered all nodes and services (over 1000). It has nice maps with all the information right on them. Very usefull to keep track of everything what's happen in the network

"Excellent monitoring application!"
Pros: I've been using NetVision for monitoring very large number of hosts (about 600). This makes more than thousand monitored services. This program handled such stress conditions perfectly - CPU utilisation was very low. Maps created by this program are highly aesthetic and clear. Network scanning is perfect.
Cons: No cons.
