From Axence Software :NetTools is a great solution for host monitoring, alerting and measuring your network performance. Its most powerful component is NetWatch host monitoring with alerting capabilities (you can set e-mail, message, sound, and tray notifications), and graphical multi-ping with a history of response time and packets lost (for monitoring the availability of your hosts).
NetTools also includes other popular tools like ping, fast trace (full trace in 1 second), lookup (port, network scanner and SNMP browser in Pro). What makes NetTools unique is the fact that it has the most highly intuitive user interface. All tools are very fast and run simultaneously. NetTools may run in the icon tray to continuously monitor hosts. Version 2.1.8.1253 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
