Pros: Easy to install also with the license key. Easy to uninstall (AntiVir Personal). Very high detection grade (see AV-Test.org) and 100% detection for polymorphic viruses (see AV-Comparatives). Comfortable to internet with the Anti Drive-By feature against harmful sites. Fast scan (20minutes) and fast computer start. With Anti Rootkit and I have never had a problem with Avira AntiVir. Updating with AntiVir Premium is reasonable fast on the contrary to AntiVir Personal (Free), which is often too slow. No cookies detection, but you can remove cookies via tools, internet options. Cost only 19,95 Euro and is this prize more than total worth.

"It's great. Affordable price with superior quality"
Pros: Excellent detection rate. Great scanning. This version of Avira hasn't been giving me issues but be very careful if you are downloading Avira Premium Security Suite. I tried Avira Premium Security Suite but it's just giving me nothing but problems. It just can't work on Vista.

"The best "stand alone" anti virus you can but!"
Pros: Before I broke down and bought a sweet, this was the anti-virus program I used. During the year I had it, I was Virus free. It's light on recources and reasonably priced.
Cons: I have no complaints about this program.

"Let me save you some time..."
Pros: If you're looking for one of the best anti-virus programs I've got 2 pieces of good news: 1) You've found it. 2) It's also one of the cheapest.
For the last 5-6 years I've experimented with just about all of the available anti-spy, ad, spam, virus software you can think of and THIS one is where I landed.
1. It is amazingly thorough - it finds stuff that most of the others wont.
2. At $26 it's about half of what the other big names charge.
3. You can customize just about every facet of this beauty.
4. At the risk of stereotyping; I tend to trust the Germans (ie; TuneUp 2008) when it comes to technology and details (talk about anal, I think these guys are potty-trained at gun point).
Cons: 1. I suggest you schedule it to run when you're all tucked in beddie-bye, it will take a while for a full system scan - but if you've got yourself a bug it'll find it.
2. The free personal version of this baby will hit you with a few pop-ups - a small price to pay for the most thorough virus scan I've been able to acquire.

Pros: nice program! Complete , and reliable against viruses, rootkits, malware, spy , trojans and non trojans..warnings are also useful, and very good price too that also goes to a Charity.Very modern approach as antivirus! Good work.
Cons: Don`t use with any other free superspyware, or other free or not free program, it will create conflicts only and once you istalled you are ok
