Version: Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Premium 7
Pros: Avira Premium provides more protection than it's free edition. One of the best detection rate, I noticed it picked some virus in microsoft office which it failed to do in the past.Removal is improved and it's effective.Realtime protection against virus is quick.Dosen't use too much memeory and good performance.
Cons: Interface needs an upgrade.

Version: Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Premium 7
Pros: i have reviewed this app before, it's one of the top two malware scanners. if you're not running antivir premium or a kaspersky powered scanner. you're running a second rate product. that's all there is to it. year after year. it's the same two malware scanners on top. if you disagree.....move along. you're entitled to be wrong.
Cons: cons? none. but i read an interesting comment on cnet's forum concerning av scanners published in europe. the person talked about these overseas companies may be spying on us. another commenter beat me to the punch. he had the perfect reply. his commeny....."do you preferred to be spied on by american publishers" well said. i promise you mcafee snoops you out more than any publisher on the planet. rock kaspersky and avira. i'll stick with the best over the most popular anyday!!!!!

Version: Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Premium 7
"very different from free version"
Pros: as reborn stated, this is much improved over the free version, very ood protection. it's as good as the other paid for av scanners, still low on resource uasage, and inexpensive to boot. about 28 bucks a year, or 70 for 3 years.
Cons: no cons.... vista ready versions of antivir both free and paid will come out in april. hat's off to avira taking the time to assure vista compatability, unlike pc tools half baked first versions of so called vista ready programs.

Version: Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Premium 7
Pros: making any other opinion absolutely useless. there is no need to tell you what's good about it. i said so is all that's needed. what higher authority could you possibly need? all who disagree, are therefore idiots, morons, or both.
Cons: NONE! I SAID IT"S GOOD>>>> YOU FOOLS THERE ARE NO CONS
