True to its name, this application can routinely save your work in several kinds of applications, but it takes some trial and error to produce accurate and effective results. AutoSave has a cluttered and confusing Windows-style interface and is missing a much-needed help file. Its primary function is to automatically save and back up changes in text- or graphics-editing applications. In multiple tests, the application accurately saved files in programs that did not have autosave options, such as Notepad and Paint. Users can set automatic save intervals in seconds or minutes. Also, the main function can be enabled or disabled by entering a user-defined hot key. Users with a short memory may find this 14-day trial application handy, but others may find it easier to simply use the standard save button.Publisher's description

Version: AutoSave 2.2
"The best thing since sliced bread"
Pros: I've used this product for 4-5 years. In my opinion the best way to use this product is to install a second hard drive and back up your data to the second hard drive. My second hard drive is in a removable hard drive case so I can have multiple second hard drives.
The product is easy to configure, although you will need to tweak the settings to obtain the desired results.
I would recommend that you use the custom settings to configure AutoSave.
Cons: The only downside is if use use another product besides AutoSave to backup your data.
Summary: null
Since I wrote the original review and my last update I've found another program that I prefer over AutoSave and SyncBack SE.
