AutoMate will allow you to build custom automated tasks that can interact with multiple applications, existing systems, the Internet, databases, and files, simultaneously. AutoMate can take over tedious tasks, such as file backups, automated FTP, unattended report generation and/or printing, and much more. Intuitive wizards will guide you through the creation process, so no programming experience is required. The program also supports automated ZIP archiving, enhanced variables, IF conditional branching, enhanced logging, more tightly integrated BASIC scripting, support for embedded in-line expressions, and task failure notification.

AutoMate features over 40 new available actions, and new triggers from watching memory and CPU thresholds to watching services. Window Dissection Technology allows AutoMate to literally "see" inside of a window and read or set text on controls. Also included are customizable task folders, improved debugging stepping, variable watches for testing automated tasks, and a task recorder wizard that can watch you work and generate a real, editable AutoMate task that is not window position dependant.

Note: This file contains demos for AutoMate Professional and AutoMate Home. AutoMate Home has certain advanced features disabled and retails for $79. AutoMate Professional retails for $349. Click here for detailed information on the differences between the two versions. New in this version: AutoMate will install as a true Windows service on NT/2000/XP, allowing tasks to run even when the system is locked or logged off. Also includes numerous speed and stability enhancements.
