Although Auto Mouse records mouse position and clicks accurately, its limitations severely hamper practical usage. Its biggest drawback is it doesn't record exactly which window you are using, so it won't accurately perform tasks if you move your application windows around, or start the macro in a different window. And though you may manually change the delay between separate actions, you can't set a group of actions to play back faster or slower. The interface is very simple--the program window instantly displays recorded actions. When the recording is finished, you can quickly edit the generated script in the same window. Auto Mouse works fine if you need to quickly set up an automated task within one application window, but it isn't useful for working in multiple windows.Publisher's Description

Summary
Contrary to the Cnet Editor's words, the program does allow you to choose which window you are working with, and it allows you to perform a series of operations and change the length of time between each operation. The operations it allows are almost limitless since you can type letters into a form, use hot keys, etc. The program does not have any serious bugs, it is reasonably-priced, and it does what it says it will do and more. It saves me a lot of hassle.
I wish the program had a 'cut and paste' for each step. You have to manually enter all steps even if you are repeating one with the exact same parameters. You can simply open the script in a text editor and use 'cut and paste', but then you have to make sure to re-number each step in the editor also. I also wish there were one more column where you could type in a brief description of what each step was doing as things can become confusing during set-up. And I wish you could scroll and view all steps, and toggle 'stay-on-top' while the script is running, but these can only be done before or after you run the script. I also wish the program could work on some kind of clock rather than simply counting time from the last step, wish causes inaccurate timing as it simply depends on how many micro-seconds your pc takes to run each step before the next one occurs, and the pc will take a varying amount of time to do this, depending on what else is running and other factors.
It is easy to use and it does the job at a decent price. As long as you do not need hairline accurate timing, give this a try. -

After the using the trial version (which was horrible), I decided not to even waste my money, so I made an equivalent program that wasn't such a failure in a couple of minutes using VisualBASIC...good job!!!
