The Auslogic Registry Cleaner is an application for cleaning up problematic and error-filled files or folders on your computer, making it run more efficiently.
This is a good application to have, and it is pretty easy to use. You don't have to be a very advanced computer user to use it properly. There are a few scan options for more advanced users, but this Registry Cleaner already selects a default list of the drives and items it will search and repair. The Scan and Repair processes were very quick. It took half a minute to scan a little over 75,000 items. It found 1,448 problems and managed to repair all but four of those problems in another half-minute. Part of this process also includes backing up the files that are being deleted, since there's always a possibility of error and you might want to access those files again. Going to the Rescue Center in File is a quick way of restoring those files from backup, so Auslogics Registry Cleaner makes every step rather simple. They have a Help page -- only a little information -- and a Technical Support page, which will allow you to contact the company with any technical questions or issues.
There were no problems with the download or installation process. It was very quick and took only a few steps to set everything up. It asks you if you want to launch the program on the final step of installation, making it that much more convenient.

This product is basically the free version of auslogcs registry fixer (only the reg cleaning part.)

Finds invalid registry entries very well. Easy interface.
Cons
Backups are not saved as a file where you can click and restore the registy, like it should be. It's rather saved into the core of the program so you can only restore using the recovery center inside the program. Majorly dislike.
Summary
This finds many more errors than other registry cleaners, but worries me for that exact reason. Especially since the backups are not accessible outside the program, as a lot of aggressive registry cleaners can find important or required files for a computer to run and name them as an error. Give us an option to do 1 or the other and I'll give a higher rating.

Pros
Provided safe and reliable performance for a long time (about a year). Excellent interface with good information on each registry fix. Good backup and recovery procedure.
Cons
After a scan today (03-06-2012) with the latest version (2.2.1), the "Help and Support Center" window would no longer come up when the "Help and Support" icon in the Start Menu (Win XP) was clicked. The other five registry cleaners that I used today didn't have this problem.
Summary
Was one of my best registry cleaners over the last year or so. (I've used eleven regularly.) Today, however, (03-06-2012) it caused a problem, but at least the recovery it provided worked well.

"Interferes with Incredimail"

Good coverage of registry cleaning
Cons
Auslogics makes changes to the registry that have a serious impact on Incredimail. HTM and HTML changes are made that prevent Incredimail from showing the message review pane. I have to run a reg fix after each time of running Auslogics, so much so that I have removed what should be a good reg cleaner from my PC
