Auslogics Duplicate File Finder is a basic program that allows users to find and delete duplicate files taking up valuable space on their hard drives. This is a helpful utility for users who find themselves with limited disk space and can't figure out why.
The program's interface is simple and extremely easy to use. Users simply select the folders they want to search in, set the matching criteria and file types, and click the Scan button. The program displays a list of duplicate files, allowing users to select and delete those that are not needed. That's really all there is to it. The program was quite intuitive and we didn't particularly need any guidance to use it, but we were disappointed by the lack of Help file. Although there is a Help menu, it leads to the publisher's Web site on which there is only a four-question list of frequently asked questions. This oversight is really our single complaint about the program; it's a bit of a one-trick pony, but it is quick and effective. In fact, we had run a similar program before testing Auslogics Duplicate File Finder that had already deleted the vast majority of our duplicate files, but this program found a few more. Color us impressed.
Auslogics Duplicate File Finder is free. It installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users; even those with limited system maintenance experience will find it easy to use.

"What a "Sweet" piece of work"

This is a fast and accurate program, I did not know or believe I had that many duplicates. once I learned how to use it it cleaned up my drives and made the computer faster. And the price was fantastic!"Free"! Rarely the free programs should have to pay people to use them but this is not one of them this is a five star. Thanks

I have thousands of duplicate files in my MP3 collection. This software scanned my entire MP3 library and could not find a single one.
Summary
It couldn't find a single one of my duplicate MP3s. Maybe it works better for other types of files, but for what I wanted, it was absolutely useless.

"It works well..no toolbars"

Worked properly, once you downloaded it and start installing it , it will ask you if you want to install the Ask Toolbar. Just pay attention. If you click it fast mindlessly like the other user did, you'll miss it.
Cons
Nothing. Like I said it will ASK YOU IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL THE TOOLBAR. Just uncheck the check box. It is not so hard.
Summary
It scanned duplicate files in less than 10 minutes and I freed up 4gb of space. A 3 year old can figure it out.

Cons
An Ask! tool bar decided to come along- not happy about it either as it was still there after I uninstalled it- had to look in my Chrome extensions and there it was! Not nice.
Summary
I plan on writing a new review once I can get over the fact that I could not get rid of the Ask! toolbar that downloaded with it- really makes me angry when I get a ride-along I didn't Ask! for! Shame on you.
