From D.R. Software :Audio Converter allows you to transform MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, and WAV files into either the WMA, WAV, or MP3 file format. Using a clean-looking interface, this program allows you to convert files individually or in batches--plus you have the option of automatically deleting the original file after the conversion process. In addition, Audio Converter can extract (rip) tracks from audio CDs and store them in either the WMA, WAV, or MP3 file format. This program also supports the ability to create and edit ID3 tags as well as CDDB (downloading titles of audio CD tracks).
Version 3.1 supports the new Windows Media Audio V8 codec featuring CD-quality at 64 kBits per second. Additionally, it now includes Easy CD-DA Recorder, a program to create CDs for home or car.
Note: The shareware price for registering this program is $19.95. There is a 30-day trial period.
