From SB Software :Astro Hunter 3D Deluxe is an asteroid shooter arcade game for your Windows XP computer. It uses 3D graphics, and requires Microsoft Direct X 9.0. There's a lot more here than the basic asteroids game -- lots of cool powerups and weird aliens to defeat. Version 1.8 adds high score tracking.

Version: Astro Hunter 3D Deluxe 1.8
"the awesomest asteroids game i've found so far"
Pros: it's the only one where the asteroids actually look like asteroids. lots of different levels and there's some weird alien things to shoot at too.
Cons: play it with mouse rather than using keyboard as it suggests. mouse play is much better.
