From Astral Computing :A very simple program to discover live hosts on a network that respond to ICMP. Single executable file. It will ask you to enter the schema, and desired timeout. The responses will be dumped to a file called netcheck.log in the same folder. Very helpful for batch programming and for finding hosts on a network quickly and easily. Low bandwidth, uses only 1 byte to transmit 1 time to each host.
