Version: Ashen Empires 2
"Good gameplay and content, graphics are "oldschool" but I like them."
Pros: As a MMO, the people you interact with are a huge factor in enjoyment of the game. On the non-pvp server, the community is super friendly. On the PVP server, at least the people are friendly when they're not killing you. Interaction with other players is almost always enjoyable and interesting.
The developers of the game are actively involved in the community, which is important to me when I'm paying for a game that evolves the way a MMO should.
I also like that there are no limits to the number of skills you can train, just a max overall level and max level in each skill.
Cons: The music leaves a lot to be desired. I have started keeping it turned off. It's like the old Zelda music, it sticks in your head.

Version: Ashen Empires 2
"Fantastic, Simple but with great depth! UOers old and new will love it!"
Pros: It seems to have everything UO lacked in it's glory days... and I'm sure theres heaps of areas that even current UO players would like.
Every MMOer should give this one a go, the devs talk to the players regularly the GMs are REALLY active and the gameplay is fantastic. Love the crafting!!!!
Oh oh oh.. the free indefinate trial rocks too!
Cons: It costs to get off the trial [8.95] but that's cheap compared to all the other MMOs anyhow.

Version: Ashen Empires 2
"Fun game to play, great community"
Pros: Played on and off for 5 years. Unlimited skills, no class distinction, great trades, a long standing helpful community. I've played the 'greats' but keep coming back to AE for the community and the free-flowing, classless character development. Interaction with Devs and GM's is common.
Cons: Graphics are not high-end - isometric bird's eye view. Music is redundant, so I turn it off.
