There is a need for this product.
With most programs it works quite well.
Cons
It could not remove all of Zone Alarm which forced me to reformat my hard drive.
When uninstaller is installed it disables the restore function of the computer leaving one no other choice than to reformat the hard drive losing all ones data.

Pros
It eliminates the well known worries regarding proper deinstallation of a new unknown program. System images do not need to be conducted as regularly as without that tool.
Your system will not be hampered by a continued slowdown due to unremoved program chunks.
Cons
Maybe somewhat complicated to use.
In case of removing Office XP the process takes several minutes on a P4 2.4GHZ machine which might you think the system has frozen. Users could truncate the process accidentially.

The idea of Ashampoo is very good, unfortunately, when I decided to get rid of redundant files, impotant files were also removed, and my only coarse of action to recover was to use system restore which also pointed me to the recycle bin where all the files had been put, if that had`nt worked, only 1 word would explain what would have happened "DISASTER"
Cons
Because of the problems I had with the redundant files, I`m now extremely concerned what would happen if I used the other actions within Ashampoo
