Version: Ashampoo Music Studio 3.21
"It needs a music player to be good."
Pros: This application works at what it was designed for, I guess. It has a great, user friendly GUI and it's compatible with both "XP" and "Vista". But without a player, it doesn't do it for me.
Cons: Although it's fairly effective at what it does, it really needs to have the ability to play music files. Ripping, burning and editing music files is useless if you can't play the final produc without opening a second application. Any good digital player will rip, burn and create play lists. Without a music player, it's to limited for me to consider it effective. With this limitatio in mind, it's not something I would consider a useful, regardless how cheap you can get it for.

Version: Ashampoo Music Studio 3.21
Pros: As always from Ashampoo, a nice looking simple user interface.
It can do many things, i've ripped my hole cd-collection to mp3. It gets album info from a online database, works great!
If you download an album, the filenames are long with stupid nicks and info, and it looks just ugly, with MS3 you can clean up that mess quickly and ad the missing ID3-tag info and so on..
it can also burn music cd's and repair broken audio files... And much more...
I bought it for $8.50, pay atention to offers on the Ashampoo site...
Cons: It crashed a couple of time, and it made a "undeletable" empty folder...
Ashampoo keeps sending me "offers" by e-mail, i call it spam...

Version: Ashampoo Music Studio 3.21
"Straight forward and effective"
Pros: Good control over where files are placed and no assumptions about what is best for the user, I like that. This software does exactly what I needed and the cost is great especially when on special.
Cons: A player incorporated in this software would be nice.
