From Ashampoo :Thousands of videos have been made available via online portals such as YouTube, GoogleVideo and others. They offer amusing fun videos, film trailers, snippets of cult movies and serious documentations. However, on the Net there is frequently a view-only policy download not possible. All you need to do is to copy a videos current http:// address from the Web browser and paste it into ClipFisher: immediately, the cunning tool will be flexing its download muscles and starting to transfer the film to your hard drive. In this way, compiling your own little (or big, for that matter) video library is no problem at all. Of course, the program has yet more to offer. Once downloaded, its possible, for instance, to play the Flash films straight away in ClipFisher. If you want to, you may also convert your films to WMV, the Windows standard format. When converting, ClipFisher will adjust the film to your individual requirements.

Pros: Great programme for phishing video's and they can be converted, nice little programme
Cons: Found the phished Video's came up upside down on the Clipfisher, after enquiring,was advised to install K-lite codec pack. But thats not cheap,way round it is to convert all vids, this can be done on clipfisher

Pros: I like the ability to download videos.
Cons: I don't like that it only downloads 'You Tube' type videos and doesn't rip videos from other sources.
The videos I have converted are Upside Down!!!

"Excellent tool for converting clips and saving clips!"
Pros: I combined ClipFisher with Ashampoo's ClipFinder, and now the ability to quickly search across several sites and preview the thumbnail size results in ClipFinder saves a lot of time. Locating the clip I want, saving, and converting it are a snap. ClipFinder is included free with ClipFisher. Dynamite combination!
