Artisan DVD/DivX Player Pro utilizes Microsoft DirectX technology and supports almost all popular video, audio, and image formats. It can play DVD and DivX files, supports AVI, MPEG, WMV, ASF, MP3, JPEG, and GIF formats. Artisan DVD/DivX Player Pro features screen capture functionality and can bookmark your necessary movie clip to the exact position. It also allow you set wallpaper with your favorite image.

Version 1.2 fixes bug in bookmark.

  Version: Artisan DVD/DivX Player Pro 1.2

  "Includes New.Net spyware"

  Pros: Never got to try it. Read the Cons.

  Cons: Killed the Install once it said I had to agree to install New.Net SPYWARE before I could finish the install. If the developer would make it an option perhaps I would try it. Until then I refuse to fight with SPYWARE.

  ""Artisian" or "Advance", let's decide it!"

  Pros: The setup:

  - New.net part: Also, if you read it's agreement... no-no, let's ask yourself: WHICH agreement? The agreement can change from time-to-time, so you must check the home page itself. Anyway, actually you CAN'T see the end of the agreement.

  - Save! part (aka. WhenU search bar): easier to understand agreement but you'll get a bar to any window (not just to browsers).

  - RelevantKnowledge part (YES, the third plus app): easy to understand but just let ask yourself, "whose application is this?".

  You'll also get a weather forecast.

  - AVG antivirus indentify some files as dialer viruses (Trojan horse Dialer 17.E)

  The working:

  - beginners work;

  - actually, there's no option for anything;

  - did i tell you: if i'm not active, you can call me by an icon which is located next to your clock;

  The end:

  - count how much new program is at add/remove then use an anti-spyware program after a so-called uninstalling;

  - decide what is the program name and home page and who has the copyright(check out the About);

  Cons: The setup:

  - none.

  The working:

  - yes, it can play files;

  - yes, it can display some image types;

  The end:

  - none;
