From Ambient Design :ArtRage is a fun and easy-to-use painting tool that lets you play with realistic paints on your computer. You can create your own paintings from nothing, load in photos, and recreate them with oil paints, pencils, felt pens, or any of the other tools ArtRage has to offer.
Version 2.2 adds many new features and improvements. Has felt pen options: all the settings for the pen tool have been made available. With control over pen softness and wetness, and the ability to use the art pen option for opaque lighter colors. Magnified precise cursor: the precise cursor has an option to be bigger and more visible. Color sampler options: the color sampler tool can sample paint with lighting applied or the pure color of the paint. TabletPC numeric entry: when entering handwritten numbers into text-entry boxes using the TabletPC input panel, the handwriting is more likely to be recognized as numeric. PTG file thumbnails: your painting files are now given thumbnails in your OS.

"A True Professional Painting Software!"
Pros: As a pro artist, I have tried many digital paint and imaging softwares, and I can tell you that most suk big time! Not this one though, using Artrage is like painting on real canvas, with real brushes and drawing tools. Its simple lite on memory and turns outs incredible works of art! If you need proof of the results just check out some of the forums related to it across the internet - amazing artistic renditions! If you're truly serious about the digital art media and your potential career in it, then do yourself a favor and add this tool to your arsenal. You'll amaze everyone with the results!
Cons: Could do with more variety of brushes, and a better interface.
