From ArcSoft :ArcSoft Video Downloader is a fast, easy-to-use application which helps you to download and save videos from various video sharing Web sites, such as YouTube, MySpace, or Google Video. This application downloads the entire video whenever you start the downloading process, and the operation will be processed in the background while you do other things on your computer. When you preview a video on the Web page, a Download button will appear on the top-left corner of each available video. Then you can click on this button to easily download and save the videos to your Destination Folder so you can view them anytime you want. You can also repeat this operation several times in order to get multiple videos from the Web site simultaneously (10 tasks at most).
Version 1.5 fixes some issues and makes it more stable. In addition, it supports playing FLV files.

Version 1.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Pros: It integrates nicely into Vista, Internet Explorer and flawlessly snatches .FLV files I encounter while browsing.
Cons: It could stay hidden and accomplish it's mission. Most of all, it doesn't work with Mozilla. I just got past my Google Toolbar withdrawl and ArcSoft sends me this thing.
Summary: I like it. I don't care so much for the Video Converter it sends files to. You can't load a .FLV into it manually and the files grow too big or look wierd. The "watermark" seems to be missing but that could be because I have purchased other ArcSo... read more >>

Pros: I successfully download videos from spike and metacafe.
Cons: It can only use in MS IE.

Pros: I can download flv clips I wanted from Youtube and MySpace. It's really easy to use. I like it !
Cons: It can't support FireFox. What a pity !
Summary:
If the plug-in doesn't work, please make sure you have closed your IE browser before your installing. I just do that, so it works well !
