This impressive Control Panel applet simplifies modification and removal of application paths, but lacks undo and backup options. The program's Windows-standard interface resides on the Control Panel and is very easy to navigate. AppPaths 2000 displays, sorts, modifies, and removes the paths for applications, start-up, services, and help files. Novices will find this program a must for their toolboxes. It couldn't be easier to choose and edit the paths. The applet's well-written and concise help file explains all aspects of application paths. Our only complaint is the lack of backup and undo tools. Deleting the wrong path can cause programs to fail. This freeware applet should have been part of the Operating System installation as all user levels would benefit from its functionality.Publisher's description
