From BitJuggler Software:

App Bundler is an application designed to create OS X bundles (and optionally OS 9 packages) from an unbundled Carbon and/or Classic application.

App Bundler was primarily designed for bundling REALbasic applications. However, it should work on any application that includes the appropriate data. (See the documentation.)

What's new in this version:

  • Added support for setting a couple document type tags in the Info.plist file that REALbasic does not support. These keys define the role (editor, viewer, shell or none) that the app plays towards the file and the LSTypeIsPackage tag, which declares that the document type is a bundle. See the docs above for more info.
  • Note that these revisions to App Bundler were done in RB 5.5. I don't think I used any 5.5-specific code, but if I did and you need a version that works ... See all new features
