From Anim8or :Anim8or is a 3D computer animation program that is designed to allow straightforward creation of animations. You interactively create and edit objects, figures, and scenes directly on the computer's screen. The basic interface is similar to most 3D animation and CAD programs. You control various aspects of your work using an ordinary computer mouse or tablet. You select and drag, rotate, scale and place objects by clicking in the various views of your work. There are two toolbars that you can use for common tasks. The one at the top of the has buttons for general commands that are used throughout Anim8or, while the one on the left allows you to change your mode of operation for common tasks in the current that you are using. The usual menu is there for less frequently used tasks.

Pros: by far the best 3d modeling program I have used, quite good interface, easy to switch between views and also has a good wireframe view mode.
Lots of great tutorials on the anim8or site.
4/5 allthough its by far the best Ive used it could still be improved.
Brilliant for beginners (as long as you use a tutorial or two from the site.)
Cons: Takes time to get use to, im still not very good at it, and is frustrating at times.

"Great Software with endless Possibilities!"
Pros: Easy to Use, fast rendering, ability to animate any 3d object you create. Ability to output any animations you create to .avi. You can also import .3ds as well. Anim8or does all of this extremely well, and it does it for free.
Anim8or also has many tutorials on how to make animations, as well as a great forum on the publishers site and quick responses for help questions. Once you learn how to use it (which doesnt take very long), you can make anything you can think of.
What I like best about this software is that it is free, and it runs great on my computer.
