From SB Software :Android Newsgroup Downloader is an advanced multithreaded newsgroup downloader program for alt.binaries newsgroups. It is designed especially for handling large files such as movies, music, applications, and archives. It's also good for downloading pictures and other small attachments. Android uses a queue-oriented design. You drag and drop the files you want into the queue (or "to-do list") and Android will download them for you automatically. Android downloads any type of file from a newsgroup, including VOB, MPEG, AVI, MP3, WAV, JPEG, GIF, BMP, PCX, RAR, PAR, and EXE. Supports all popular encoding methods, including uudecode, yEnc, mime, and base64. Android is has many user-friendly features, including a built in queue manager that saves your "to-do" list from session to session, and a built in history that will keep track of what you have downloaded. Shareware version is fully functional with no time limits, expiration, or disabled features.
Version 4.8 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Android Newsgroup Downloader 4.8
Pros: I have been using SBNews and Quad for many years (made by these same people) and they keep improving and releasing new products for no additional cost. 'Android' is the latest program release and it is very refined and further improved over previous versions and other downloaders currently available. -I continue to keep tabs on what is out there.
The latest thing I love is that it stores info on each session so if you restart your computer you can still see what you have already downloaded. Up to 10 simultaneous threads. I very rarely get errors anymore downloading and recompiling large movies. -well over 300 of them in the last few months.
Wide range of filters and search options. Very intuitive multi-tab interface and easy, actually fun to use. Far too many features to list.
I probably sound like I work there ...just a fan!
Cons: I have requested a 'pick to top' of the list button to quickly access info files and indexes. Hope this comes in next upgrade.
