It protects you from malicious Web sites, which try to install spyware, keyloggers, or rootkits on your Windows computer. eCondom reduces and eliminates the risks by allowing you to run Internet Explorer in a SafeBrowse mode, which is a user rights restricted mode or least-privileged user account (LUA) mode, speaking technically. It does not reduce your Internet experience and helps you stay safe and secure. eCondom is complimentary to anti-spyware and protects you from getting spyware and malware in the first place. If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer you can use eCondom for your secutiry.
