Version: All Media Fixer 9
"All Media Fixer sucks! Newsoft Live is a phony company"
Pros: Unfortunately, I bought this $27 software, and while it did not crash my computer, that is the only good thing I can say about it.
Cons: I inadvertently threw away photo (jpeg) files, and then upon realizing what had taken place undeleted them. So I had three hundred or so freshly undeleted files/photos which looked intact but would not "draw".
It takes forever to run, then after waiting (and waiting and waiting)...nothing. I mean, not a single file out of hundreds was repaired. All Media Fixer failed magnificently! When I contacted "support," they got back to me all right, to tell me "Tough luck." I was stunned, then...upset.
I was told it was my files, there was nothing they could do, and no refund. However, in the meantime, I had downloaded and ran Jpeg Recovery Pro. It saved at least half of the three hundred photos! When I explained this to Newsoft Live (aka excellencesoft/ Wang Ge), they promptly stopped responding.
Waste of time and money. All Media Fixer sucks.
