This free browser add-on lets you search and download software products, games, and mobile ringtones, but it's shortsighted in a couple of areas.

Aliendownload Toolbar sits atop your Internet Explorer window and uses Aliendownload.com for all search inquiries. The pull-down menus offer downloads for software products, including Web-authoring tools, multimedia and design, and desktop enhancements. A variety of online game categories such as adventure, arcade, sports, and puzzles present several free games to play. A convenient button to launch the mobile ringtones section of the site is handy, though the ringtones are far from free. The pop-up blocker and convenient weather forecasts are a nice find, though forecasts aren't given on the toolbar; the button launches the publisher's site for that information.

Unfortunately, this app doesn't provide links to other useful sites and there aren't any options to customize the toolbar or cleanup search and browser histories as we've come to appreciate in other toolbars. While it's a helpful add-on for navigating around Aliendownload.com, some would rather find a program that doesn't simply cater to one spot.
