Alfa File Monitor can distingish between files and directories for creates and deletes. Alfa File Monitor doesn't pool for directory changes, instead it uses a driver to intercept file class, and thus does not overload the system or the CPU. Alfa File Monitor is ideal for file management programs, so that they can update lists without CPU usage, as well as for management systems to maintain data knowledge.
