This isn't the most feature-packed Windows-optimization utility, nor the most effective, but we found it one of the easiest to control. Advanced WindowsCare's simple interface offers two main options: Repair and Repair And Optimize. The former fixes Registry entries and cleans out your operating system. The latter does the same thing and tweaks Windows for maximum performance.
If you run into trouble, the Restoration option can return your system to its original configuration. The Advanced menu provides fine control over repairs and optimizations. On the downside, we noticed only one improvement on our test PC: a reduced amount of used RAM. Also, the program's brief descriptions of system problems may not satisfy seasoned users. And although the latest version of the app includes a help file, we wouldn't call it extensive.
Nevertheless, if your system is running sluggishly and you're considering reinstalling Windows, it wouldn't hurt to try this freeware package first.

Pros: it does what it says, but...
Cons: this can do more harm than good if you don't watch what you're doing. you have to create a restore point before running this. it will undo all your tweeks and settings you've took so long in setting up and remove program files. just pay attention to what you're deleting

Pros: I've been using Advanced WindowsCare V2.7 (AWC) Personal edition on my "Win XP Home & Pro" desktop & laptop computers for over a year now, and just updated to Version 2.7 from 2.6 with no issues.
"WARNING: Before installing "any" software, it's best to back-up your operating system, so don't complain if you fail to backup, and have problems!!!"
When I first ran the program, it optimized my system & internet connection, removed junk files, and fixed registry problems.
Since then, I run the program as needed or once a week.
The program features;
Spyware Removal, Security Defense, Registry Fix, System Optimization, Startup Manager, Privacy Sweep, and Junk Files cleaner.
Restore Center; Creating restoration Points when using AWC for restoring your system.
"Note: You can view the changes before fixing them."
"Tools" menu includes;
"Startup Manager".
"Add-on tools": Process Manager, System Service, TCP/UDP, Software Uninstaller & Cookie Manager.
"Memory Cleaner".
"Disk Manager":Analyse disks, view file types & the disk space they use, and Find Clone files on the disk.
Click the "Details" button on the main window to view "System Information" (beta only,info may not be accurate),
which includes; Operating System, Processor & Mainboard, Memory Device, Drives, Display, Network, and Other Devices.

Pros: This new version is making this software even better than it was! Adding a new memory cleaner and disk manager makes this a must have! Maintenance never was easier!!

Pros: Freed up a lot of space on my HD
Cons: Make sure you have a record of all your passwords in case you delete your cookies.
