This isn't the most feature-packed Windows-optimization utility, nor the most effective, but we found it one of the easiest to control. Advanced WindowsCare's simple interface offers two main options: Repair and Repair And Optimize. The former fixes Registry entries and cleans out your operating system. The latter does the same thing and tweaks Windows for maximum performance.
If you run into trouble, the Restoration option can return your system to its original configuration. The Advanced menu provides fine control over repairs and optimizations. On the downside, we noticed only one improvement on our test PC: a reduced amount of used RAM. Also, the program's brief descriptions of system problems may not satisfy seasoned users. And although the latest version of the app includes a help file, we wouldn't call it extensive.
Nevertheless, if your system is running sluggishly and you're considering reinstalling Windows, it wouldn't hurt to try this freeware package first.

"It's good enough to secure and optimize windows"
Pros: Everything works fine and doesn't break the system like some optimizers
Cons: some message windows (e.g. the creating system restore point) don't go away until you exit the application

Pros: Easy interface, simple to use and it works, in fact I put it on my eight year old daughters partition, she uses it to do her own cleaning, result, when used with IObit smartdefrag, the computer is running very well.
Cons: The only problem I have with this utility is with the pay for version, you do not buy the program outright, you purchase a twelve month licence.
This annoys me somewhat.

Pros: Automates functions I would otherwise have to do manually.
Cons: You have to be careful that the registry scan doesn't remove something you need.

"Fast, balanced, clean, no hassles"
Pros: Fast scan, easy to review potential 'fixes', clean interface, installs easily, runs with no problems (4 weeks) -
Cons: It can delete some preferences - check the proposed fixes before just clicking 'Go'
