This isn't the most feature-packed Windows-optimization utility, nor the most effective, but we found it one of the easiest to control. Advanced WindowsCare's simple interface offers two main options: Repair and Repair And Optimize. The former fixes Registry entries and cleans out your operating system. The latter does the same thing and tweaks Windows for maximum performance.
If you run into trouble, the Restoration option can return your system to its original configuration. The Advanced menu provides fine control over repairs and optimizations. On the downside, we noticed only one improvement on our test PC: a reduced amount of used RAM. Also, the program's brief descriptions of system problems may not satisfy seasoned users. And although the latest version of the app includes a help file, we wouldn't call it extensive.
Nevertheless, if your system is running sluggishly and you're considering reinstalling Windows, it wouldn't hurt to try this freeware package first.

Pros: Still good for configuring windows settings, but more has been added. Such as registry editor and file cleaner like CCleaner, both finding some things the other misses. They have also added a spyware scanner, which is very fast and shows no false-positives, and an immunizer. AWC works with SystemRestore before making any changes. It also shows details of everything that it finds before making changes. If you don't want to bother with details you can click to repair everything that it finds. AOL AVS says its clean and it comes with it's own uninstaller, which cleans out the registry on it's way out. DEFINITELY WORTH THE TIME TO TRY IT OUT!!!
Cons: I don't have any spyware so I couldn't test it's ability to remove malware, but at least it didn't show false-positives to goad into purchasing... It's a little slow loading, but very fast after the interface is up.

"Easy, Fast, Powerful Optimization and Repair"
Pros: This program is a winner. It will remove spyware from your computer (to a certain extent) and it will also protect your computer from any spyware that will try to install later on without having any active shield- much like spywareblaster does. Second, AWC will purge your computer of registry errors with a very up to date registry cleaner. It finds A LOT- and the stuff it finds are relevant. Also,complete PC optimization is included in the Pro version of the product, but a good amount of optimizations for your computer are also included for the free version. Depending on whether you select Top Performance, Daily Use, or Entertainment/Office Work, Server, Computing/General, your computer will be optimized for those needs. Also, you can optimize according to your internet connection. There is an auto update service and auto run scheduling service and a privacy, start up, and temp files scan. All these scans are performed in one single sweep and fixed in a single sweep. Also included is a memory cleaner and Smart Defrag (coming soon) in the Pro version. Overall, this program is basically an All in One utility that is well deserving of 5 stars.
Cons: The only issue you might have is that the spyware scan is minimal. There is, however, a program called ASR (Advanced Spyware Remover from evonsoft) which is by the main programmer. This is a more thorough antispyware product that I recommend using along with AWC.

Pros: I like this a lot. Quick to download, scan's fast and does what it say on the package. It's free and does a lot. I highly recommend this. Nothing to lose by trying it
