This is one of those utilities that is not only nice to have, it is an absolutely "Must Have". I have used it for a few years now and the new version 10x is the best one yet!!! It is sooooo easy to use and sooooo good at what it does I feel very comfortable using it on my personal system as well as those of my clients. Download this and use it for a few days and you will be sold! I just cannot say enough good things about not only the company but its products. Buy it today!! You will absolutely love this utility. Hint....take a look at the other offerings at Innovative Solutions. They are on the cutting edge of technology. I just cannot say enough about this product!!!

Powerful and easy to use program. I could not uninstall some Roxio products and even though I had to use the "Force Uninstall" feature, it worked with all of them. Windows uninstaller bombed each time I tried it. I strongly recommend Advanced Uninstaller Pro as a utility to have available on your computer..

I use this program instead of Windows as this is faster, gets everything in one go, and I don't have to go back to the program list to see if the folder is still there with items in it. I also use AU to keep my start-up programs in line.
Cons
So, far, after many years, there isn't anything I don't like about AU.

Very complete, backup, registry cleaning and removal programs are good tools. I installed it on several pc and I'm very happy. Too bad he is not in French.

Cannot say anything good if it caused my computer to malfunction.
Cons
Something in the program will conflict with Windows 7 and cause your internet speed to drop about 50%. Spent an hour on the phone with Century Link tech support and found that after installing this software my connection speed went back to normal.
Summary
If you install first run a speed test and followup with a speed test after install to see if it conflicts with your computer. As I said I am using Windows 7 64 bit.
