Version: Advanced Spyware Remover 1.96
Pros: None. I never got to use it.
Cons: After installing this program, a file called asrupdate.exe, which was supposedly an update for this program aked to install itself. Before I could do anything, istallation began. AVG detected a trojan namely Trojan horse Generic.HBN attached with the update and quarantined it. The file offered an installation again. i shut the PC down and uninstalled ASR after reboot.

Pros: Thank you for this great program. As long as the directions are followed the whole hard drive will be scanned. Be sure to pick and choose which areas are to be cleaned. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this program and it can do a fantastic thorough job. If the Internet is accessed then this program is a must. As stated the hard drive can be scanned and cleaned completely and super fast. Speaking of quote too fast unquote... Cleaning programs should be fast. Not too many folks need to sit and wait for long cleaning times... or do they?

Version: Advanced Spyware Remover 1.96
Pros: I like all the options and the live update on it. It made my computer run a bit faster. I love the fact that you don't have to pay to use this program. It's free to scan and free to remove the spyware.
Cons: I don't like the fact that it only scanned cookies. I may not have spyware though, so I am not putting it down. It scans a bit fast, but I guess it works pretty good.

"I ain't sure, Trojan of Innocent?"
Pros: Fastest scan, i wonder if it even scanned. nice, fast update
Cons: Akilesh_1992, you're right! AVG and Avast identified it as a trojan. It blocked some of my programs, i had no choice but to uninstall. get Windows dEfender
