This powerhouse application gives parents complete control over computer activity. Advanced Parental Control's innovative user interface allows you to set up PC monitoring, restrictions, and scheduling per user. The program automatically lists the accounts on your machine and captures screenshots, keystrokes, programs, and URLs visited and organizes each by user name.
Simply select a child's name you want to check on and click the organizational button to see his or her individual screen captures, opened applications, launched URLs, and more. We also like the individual restrictions given: you can allow or block specific URLs for one child while granting access to another, and the same goes for keyword blocks. Access restrictions to system areas such as network settings and connections, the Control Panel, and even certain drives are applicable, again by user. A schedule may be set for computer time and another schedule is given for Internet access to keep surfing off-limits during homework time.
Parents will undoubtedly appreciate this 14-day trial program's tailored controls, effectiveness, and organizational output.

Pros: A very complete set of features.
Cons: Installation missing files! (msflxgrd.ocx)
Program crashed consistently.
Retina-X claims for 30 day money back guarantee were just that - a claim only.Summary: A program which doesn't include all of the files necessary to run is poor. The missing file would indicate the software is written in Visual Basic 6 - not a development environment capable of building software for current Windodws systems. The sof... read more >>
