Publisher's description
From Eric Poersel :AFS securely and reliably protects any type of data against unauthorized access. Therefore it's using the world-wide standardized, fast and very safe encryption algorihm AES. Very simple to use. Only a user password is required for encrypting files or folders. AFS is usable with all kind of storage types, for example: hard-drives, CD/DVD, USB Sticks. But also usable for secure data transfer via eMail. Version Basic 3.0e may include Finale Relase, no Beta-Version anymore. Fixed several smaller but uncritial bugs and removed some potential problems. For example, detection of available free disk space on target drive.

Version: Advanced File Security Basic 3.0e
Pros: It is practical, even with the restraints it has. We all need to protect our files. AFS 3 is a useful tool for a single person. However, it can be used by an office group sharing the same software. The beta version does not have a language option, but I hope it will in the future. Anyhow, I think it is a very useful tool.
Cons: I live in Venezuela and I do talk, write and speak english, but not my co-workers at the office. A language option would be needed. I think that the software should have an option warning the person who wants to open a file or grupu of files, before it opens the password window. For the rest, it works!
