  "Great Product"

  Pros: -Blocks most ads through one click Subscribing to the Easy List
  -Easily block any image you want through right click
  -Other elements can be hidden too and another add-on created by the same publisher helps block other elements.

  Cons: -Some blocking can cause a few problems with some pages as blocking ads may result in blocking some important content. This doesn't happen often however. Sometimes, CNETTV does not load as the add-on blocks the ads that often appear before the video.

  Summary: Adblock Plus is a useful add-on that does what it says and I would recommend it to all Firefox users.

  "Pages load 4-5 times faster!!"

  Pros: Even with a fast computer (I have 5 gigs RAM) pages can still load slow with all the Flash advertising and pictures trying to load. Adblock Plus blocks ALL of it! No more Flash movies or pictures of Paris Hilton loaded in my Yahoo home page!

  Cons: Takes a bit of getting used to. Sometimes you have to tell the program that yes, you want to block a certain image.

  Summary: You can open Adblock Plus and see the total amount of ads that have been blocked. In just over 4 months, I've had over 300,000 adds, pictures and Flash files blocked. No, that is not a typo...300,000.

  "Virtually impossible to download..."

  Pros: Once you can get it, it's brilliant. I (mistakenly) removed the old version, and could not download the new one. Only then did I realize as I surfed the Net how much garbage AdBlock was stopping.

  Cons: No mirror sites to download from if the primary site fails (which it did for me several hundred times), before finally giving up trying to download it using my primary PC. more...

  "I can't do without it!"

  Pros: So far, blocks EVERYTHING on EVERY page I go to!

  Cons: Sometimes, too much gets blocked. Sometimes when I'm on Yahoo, the videos get blocked. Then I have to temporarily disable it for the site.

  Summary: Extremely easy to install on Firefox. No ads have gotten through using the standard ad blocking subscription lists. Sometimes pages have problems loading or load slowly. Or videos don't play (see comment about Yahoo videos above). When that happ... read more >>

  "Great addons for Firefox"

  Pros: It block a lot of those annoying flashy things. Sometimes, it blocks the popup on videos like in Youtube

  Cons: In the newest versions 1.0.2 it blocks pictures that I would like to see. Therefore, I'm here to reinstall 1.0.1

  Summary: The Bottom Line is that once you use it on one computer you will be sad it's not installed in the next.
