Publisher's description

From Adaptec :

In a world where high availability to data is critical to a business's success, redundancy within an IT infrastructure is a prerequisite. There are many levels of system and component redundancy, but redundant I/O paths is a foundation of high availability. To this end, Adaptec has created Fibre Channel Inspectorâ?¢ with Failover to ensure that you can get to your data when you need it. Fibre Channel Inspector, when used in conjunction with multiple Adaptec Fibre Channel HBAs connected to shared storage, will automatically failover between redundant I/O datapaths should one path fail.
