the program was ok, but not the best.
cant get the darn thing off the computer! I uninstalled it from my computer, but it still pops up everytime i start my computer and it freeze the whole startup!
Disliked it's use, tried many times to fully remove. Horrible! Recommend it not be installed since it continues to pop up two stupid windows requiring response everytime I go on-line. Shame on CNET for sponsoring Ad Arrest and for not requiring this needed FIX for the ability to fully remove this self-propetuating POP-UP!
Worked ok if you can put up with the inconvenience..
Saw it was a nuisance to use and immediately uninstalled - or so I thought. Can't find a way to remove its intrusive blocking,
CNET and software co. have been no help. Other blockers can't remove it. CNET provided the following warning with Advanced System Care: Tedious Uninstallation: Advanced SystemCare's setup is like a collection of shortcuts to other downloads. SystemCare's toolbox behaves more like a glorified stub installer for IOBit's other products than a true all-in-one program.

And I easily removed that one. A solution must be provided for ad arrest.
Didn't like software. Impossible uninstall has negativelty affected use of computer. I have never been this unhappy with a CNET download beforer and have never left a negative review here or at any other site for a download.
There are no pros, this product is malware as far as I'm concerned. I can't get it off my computer even after an uninstaller program is used.
It's a pest leach program. It's free advertising here and on my computer forever means I can't get this pest out of the registry even with an uninstaller. This is malware as far as I'm concerned. What's up with having to choose a star. You need some negative stars for poor products.
This program leaves itself in your computer and the uninstall doesn't work. Once installed it pops up just like a pop up I wanted to get rid of so it is a unremoveable pop up.
Can't think of any
Does not effectively block out ads at all. Can't remember one website that was ad-free.
No pros at all this programme sucks!
It hardly blocked a pop up, not worth the download.
Not worth the download, much better ones out there.Dont waste your time!
Works as advcertised!
Some sites I visit regularly cannot be accessed through highlighted click-on phrases because Ad Arrest doesn't recognize them as acceptable. When I try to uninstall the program it doesn't allow the uninstall; continuously activating itself.
Not recommended. Resisting uninstallation is too much power for a program to have.

This program blocked not one of the pop-ups in IE. It only blocks them after they've come up, and even then they just come back! Also, when I uninstalled it, twice, it didn't go away. This program is a huge waste of time and just makes the computer slower.
it is a small file.
Blocked intentional popups (even blocked internet explorer from starting when i clicked it on the desktop), doesnt stop floating advertisments, I uninstalled it however its not gone. It still starts up when i start my computer and operates like normal. It also looks unimpressive.
It blocks some popups
I cannot recommen it to anyone because: 1) Popups keep flashing before my face before they are blocked which makes my computer very slow and wastes my time for nothing 2) It cannot separate good popups (when I explicitly click a link, for example) from bad popups that open themselves without my permission 3) If I enable temporarily the good popup that is blocked (see above), Ad Arrest never memorizes my choice and next time I click this link, it is blocked again. Besides, "recently arrested popups" list is always empty so I cannot enable it from there either
