Much more than a simple pop-up blocker, Ad Annihilator scores all aces. The program not only installs as a colorful toolbar in your Web browser, it also lets you access all functions via a right click. In our tests, the application capably killed all pop-ups, banners, and Flash ads we threw its way, and you can choose to block or allow all three types of ads from particular sites. We appreciate that Ad Annihilator can eliminate many banners or pop-ups at once by using a string or a specific keyword as a cue to block, and the ability to save your customized settings as a project is a nice plus. Once you switch to the advanced mode, you'll uncover a whole new world of functionality, as Ad Annihilator features an enhanced cache that lets you browse offline Web pages. If you're digging through a long list of offline sites, you can easily find what you're looking for by searching by name, content, and date. Pros: It blocked all of the popups and ads that i threw at it.
Cons: It cost 30 dollars. Some programs do the same thing for free.

Pros: I like the idea of having the ability (somewhat) of blocking banners and pop-ups, but using the advanced setting doesn't always work correctly.
Cons: Using global wildcards doesn't always work (i.e. blocksite*com). Also, who are these people (No "about us")? If you go to their site, you won't find an address/number or anything else. Because they don't feel they need to acknowledge themselves, neither will I.

"Did what it said in the pitch"
Pros: Downloaded quickly across a dial up. Installed this and was pleasantly surprised. The key was delivered within minutes of my registration and it took only a few seconds to enter it in the program. Tried to browse various websites and most of banners was gone as if they never were there. Some banners remained but I read a help file and quickly learnt to kill them with banner sniper (as simnple as two mouse clicks). Popups never came through. I am greatly satisified with this product!

Pros: I wish to thank people who developed such a great product. It solved a host of problems I have had with modern websites: stopped popups, cleared my favorite websites from bugging ads, and guarded me from bad cookies. Its ofline cache capability is also very great
Cons: If there are some, they must be too minuscule for me to notice them
