This simple program runs on a PC, secretly recording all keystrokes and regularly sending you reports via e-mail. In general, though, Active Key Logger is badly protected. For one thing, anyone can remove the program via the Add or Remove Programs control panel. For another, its settings are not even locked with a password. The default name for the program folder might raise users' suspicions. Every record in the log contains the date and the application in which the keys were pressed. You can't filter records, however, so reading a month of logs will take you a long, long time. On the upside, the program uses only 5MB of memory and doesn't slow down a PC. Active Key Logger suits home use.
