Version: Acritum One-click BackUp For WinRAR 2.1 release
Pros: Cool program! I?m a programmer and I needed a tool to automatically create backup copies of my projects time after time to be able to undo erroneous changes of the code. When I installed this program I was pleasantly surprised: I could configure it to create backup of my sources (it is possible to exclude exe, dll and other unneeded files to save disk space and reduce processing time). Backup automatically starts every 30 minutes and creates a new copy of all required files. The process is executed minimized to the system tray and lasts 1-2 seconds, and I don?t need to stop my work when my files are saved. I configured it to keep maximum 100 last copies of archives - this is enough to trace and restore all changes in my sources during last month: filenames have date and time of creation, so it?s no problem to guess when I spoiled my work and restore old files from the archive that had been saved just a few minutes before I made a mistake. I also created a preset to backup my sources with strong compression and upload the archive to my FTP server every evening just in case something happens with my local computer ? don?t want to lose the project that I wrote more that a year! I recommend this program. I?m also going to buy one more license to use with my home computer. Thanks to the developers!
Cons: There are no language files yet, although any user can translate the program (sample language file is included to the distributive).
