This program allows you to select from six built-in settings ranging from "Lower" to "Superb." Also allows manual adjusting of frame size, video bitrate, audio bitrate and volume, frame rate, and number of audio channels.
Cons
It doesn't have the ability to create your custom settings and save them in the drop-down list of built-in choices.
Summary
Overall, I strongly recommend this product. It is very easy to use and it costs $24.95 USD, which is a one-time fee and it covers all future updates.

Cons
Personally, I don't mind the one time price of $24.95. However, if you do mind, think of it this way: Would you rather pay a monthly or yearly fee for a iPod video converter, or a one-time price? It's up to you. ;)
Summary
Overall, Acala DivX to iPod is an excellent choice as an iPod video converter. It is the best iPod video converter I have ever used, and I have tried several other freeware iPod video converters. None though, could match how easy Acala DivX to iPod was to use. :)

Acala DivX to iPod is the best video converter software I have ever used. When I tried to convert a video that I had made from .avi to .mp4 so I could have it on my iPod, other programs would turn the converted edition of the video blue, make it less clear, or not even work at all.
Then I found Acala DivX to iPod and tried it out. It was the program I was looking for. It converted my video without degrading the quality too much, and it was very easy to use. Ever since I have bought the software, I have never regreted doing so.
Since you probably want to know more about the program if you are reading this, I will explain it's features. This program allows you to select from six preset settings. However, it also has the option to customize your settings by letting you adjust the frame rate, video bitrate, audio bitrate, audio volume, frame rate and audio channels.
The program also has it's own video player that you can watch the video that is about to be converted or was converted in. The player also has settings to start where you want to convert in the video along with where you want to stop.
I highly recommend considering this program if you want an excellent video converter so you can watch videos on your iPod.

Now onto the program itself. Acala DivX to iPod allows you to customize the frame size, video, audio, and frame rates, the number of audio channels, and the audio volume of the video that will be converted. There is also an option to have the program automatically shut off your computer once the video is converted. Additionally, you can also set the start and stop times of the video you are converting, as well as watch the video in the built-in player. I highly recommend this piece of software.

Acala DivX to iPod is the best iPod video converter I have ever used. It allows you to select from one of the 6 preset settings, or you can manually adjust the frame size, video bitrate, audio bitrate, audio volume, frame rate and how many audio channels there are. You can also set the output folder like most video converters as well, and the starting and stopping positions for the converted video. It also features a built-in player, so you can watch your video from within the program. Although this program isn't free, it is well worth the purchase price!
Cons
The only thing I wish this software had was an option to save your custom settings, as the program won't save them automaticaly and there is no option to save them. However, that is a small price to pay for such a great program!

Acala DivX to iPod is very easy to use. It allows you to select the frame size, video bitrate, audio bitrate, audio volume, frame rate and how many audio channels you want, all one screen. You don't have to keep flipping back and forth between screens! It also has a "shutdown computer after conversion" feature which, when selected, automatically will shut your computer down after it finishes converting your video. I highly recommend this product!
Cons
If you don't want to pay for iPod video converters, then this product isn't for you. However, it is worth the purchase price!
